A Message from the President
Dear GBTA South Carolina Members and Supporters,
As we look ahead to 2025, we are excited to announce that we will be the 38th chapter of the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) to be formed, marking a significant milestone for South Carolina. This moment is filled with pride and anticipation as we prepare to celebrate our growth and the future of our chapter.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all those who have committed to serve on the Board and in various committees.
We encourage you to become more involved with the chapter in 2025. By joining our committees, you will have the opportunity to enhance your personal brand, expand your network, and continue your professional growth. The return on volunteer engagement (ROVE) is substantial, with a potential return of at least three times the effort you put in. I personally share my own ROVE story as a testament to the value of involvement.
Our mission remains strong, and our vision is as important as ever. Together, we commit our time and resources to planning, preparing, and collaborating with industry leaders and seasoned professionals to ensure we address the most relevant and trending topics for our members' development.
We firmly believe that teamwork is the foundation of our success. Through this chapter, we will built lasting friendships and gain invaluable mentors who genuinely wish the best for each of us. Your feedback is always welcome, and I encourage you to reach out with any ideas or suggestions you may have.
